About Us

Welcome to the MOMS Club of Sumner-Bonney Lake, Washington! We are a local chapter that is part of the international www.momsclub.org non-profit support group specifically aimed at supporting moms who choose to stay at home with their children, including those who work out of their homes, as well as those who work part-time. We provide an opportunity for you to meet new moms, get and share advice, learn about your community, enjoy fun activities for your children and for yourself. MOMS Club is about you, and what fits into your life. We are unique in that we welcome children at all our activities. Most activities are held during the day.

Nationally, the MOMS Club has over 2,000+ chapters and 100,000 members. Please take a few minutes to check out our website. If you have any questions about our club, or are interested in joining please contact us at.

We currently have 40 or so members.
For membership information or questions contact our Membership VP, Liberty at maizeydaizey@hotmail.com

We are a very active group. We have 2-3 activities planned per week. We also have playgroups that meet each week. When you join you will receive our monthly newsletter which along with other goodies will have our calendar for the month, and descriptions of each activity as well as who to contact for each activity. Each activity has a contact person (usually whoever has planned it) to RSVP to, and who will be at the activity. Any member can be a host/contact for an activity. The more members that add activities to our calendar the more activities there are.

Along with activities we also have a few groups that any member is welcome to attend:

-Recipe Club

-Walking Group

-Knit/Crochet/Craft Groups

Mom’s Night Out: We have a Mom’s night out once a month (generally child-free). It is a great opportunity for just the moms to get together, and take a break from life for a few hours. Mom’s night out can be as simple as game night at someone’s house, a friendly game of bowling, a movie, dinner, or a craft night.

Service Projects: Because the MOMS Club is a non-profit organization each year we are required to do one service project that gives back to our communities, and benefits families, or children in some way. Many of the MOMS Clubs do much more than one service project a year With so many opportunities out there to give back, and to share with others. Examples of some of the service projects we have done, or are currently doing are:

-Adopting a family at the holidays

-Collecting, and donating clothes, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. to Exodus Housing– a shelter in Sumner that provides for women and children.

-Assembling Emergency Room kits at our local hospital for kids when they come into the E.R. either as a patient, or, with a friend/family member. The kits have crayons, stickers, and coloring pages.

-Donating funds to The Mother To Mother fund. The Mother To Mother Fund was set up by MOMS Club International after the big earthquake in California that adversely affected several MOMS Club members. Financial help was given to these families from funds donated by chapters all over the U.S. The fund became established shortly after that. The fund provides help for MOMS Club members in situations such as in California. Since the fund began it has helped many families in crisis.
